Objectives
Lowe’s Services India Private Limited, approached Oasis Foundation for distribution of Laptops to the deserving students who are studying technical course across Karnataka. The laptops were pre-owned and in good condition and worth ₹40,000. Lowes and Oasis Foundation partnered to develop criteria for student selection and distribution.
Eligibility
• Meritorious students, economically challenged and pursuing technical education in colleges
• Gender ratio of recipients maintained
Application & Selection
• Online Campaign communication to colleges and individuals.
• Shortlisted candidates reviewed and selected by internal committee at Siddhartha Institute Technology, Tumkur selected 14 candidates.
• 6 individual applicants were also choosen
• Total of 20 of which 9 male and 11 female students were selected
